A Nugget for Life: Many people may believe they can fake it until they make it with being a parent or a spouse. I want to discourage you from waking marriage and parenting before its time. Your decisions will hurt those around you. It’s not fair to live a life of singlness when you have a spouse at home thinking you are commited to living life with them as a married a couple but you are thinking the opposite. It is equally unfair to have chilren that you have no intentions on being there or helpng to raise. It’s okay to be selfish over your time when single, but do not lie to yourself and others. Be honest with them and yourself and allow these phases of life to hold out a bit longer while you develop a strong commitment to parenting and marriage. They both should ideally be forever.
